Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pursuing Other Opportunities, which operates Throughwise ("we," "us"). They cover the website at throughwise.com and the Throughwise web app. By using Throughwise, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Who can use Throughwise

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States. During early access, Throughwise is open only to people we've invited.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep access to that email address secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at support@throughwise.com if you think someone else has used your account.

What Throughwise is, and isn't

Throughwise is a planning tool. Nora, its AI chief of staff, helps you turn what you want to change into a quarterly plan and keep it going. Nora is AI and can be wrong: she can misread a situation or suggest something that doesn't fit you. You decide what goes in your plan, and nothing changes in it until you approve.

Throughwise doesn't give medical, mental health, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for it. It isn't a crisis service, and nobody monitors your entries in real time. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 if you're in immediate danger.

Your Personal Board

You choose who to invite and what each person sees. Invite only people you know who would welcome hearing from you. Each person decides whether to join, and anyone can stop getting your updates at any time. Be kind in what you send through Throughwise, and expect the same from the people on your Board.

Your content

What you write is yours. You give us permission to store it, process it, and send it to our service providers, including the AI model behind Nora, only as needed to run Throughwise for you, and to show the parts you choose to share to the Board members you choose. We don't use what you write about your goals for advertising, and we don't sell it. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.

Using Throughwise fairly

Please don't use Throughwise to break the law, to harass or harm anyone, or to send anything you don't have the right to send. Don't try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, interfere with the service, get around its limits, or copy it with automated tools.

Early access

Throughwise is new. During early access, it's free, features may change or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Before any paid plan starts, we'll show you its price and terms, and you'll be charged only if you agree to them.

Ending your use

You can stop using Throughwise at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@throughwise.com. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk, and, during early access, when an invitation ends. If we end your access for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll give you a way to get a copy of your plan.

Disclaimers

We work hard to make Throughwise useful and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that following your plan will produce any particular result.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Throughwise. Our total liability for any claim about Throughwise is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Arizona law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us first at support@throughwise.com so we can try to resolve it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above. If a change is significant, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using Throughwise after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
